Ishqbaaz May 16 written update: Shivaay and Anika await DNA test reports
Shivaay calms an emotional Anika.
The episode starts with Nayantara and Pinky continuing with their argument. Pinky expresses that she is worried that she will get exposed if the DNA test reports come out. On the other hand, Anika tells Shivaay that she is worried and feels ashamed about Nayantara. Shivaay assures her that everything will be fine, she needs to relax. While Pinky plans to change the reports, Shivaay plans to go to collect the report himself so that no one can tamper with the reports.
Nayantara enters Anika's room and is amazed at the lavish lifestyle. Anika is embarrassed with Nayantara's antics. Anika questions Nayantara why has she come here to which she says it is because of her motherly emotions she is here. Anika asks her to cut the crap and leave. Nayantara apologises to her for leaving her and continues to pretend to be her mother. Shivaay enters the same time and Nayantara tries to seek his sympathy.
While leaving Nayantara takes away Shivaay's expensive watch. Anika tells Shivaay that she gets frustrated every time she looks at her. Shivaay goes searching for his watch and couldn't find it. Anika gets suspicious about Nayantara being the thief. Anika comes to Nayantara and asks her to return the watch. Anika traps Nayantara and gets the watch from her. She tells her to behave herself. Pinky overhears this and taunts Anika saying that like her, her mother is also trapping Shivaay trying to loot him.
In the meantime, Ranveer tries to act innocent in front of Priyanka but she pays no heed to his words and leaves.
Anika gets emotional in front of Shivaay and tells him that his watch was with Nayantara. Anika expresses her fear to Shivaay, however, he tries to calm her down.
Shivaay tells her that she is not Nayantara's daughter and that she is very different and strong and she is his and only his Anika. He tells her that she doesn't look good while crying. He assures her that he is there for her and embraces her into a warm hug.
On the other hand, Ranveer tries to meet Priyanka yet again. He urges Priyanka to hear him out or else he will jump off the building. He counts till 3 and jumps off.
Shivaay leaves for the hospital.
