Ishqbaaz May 5 written update: Shivaay and Anika promise to fight odds together
Shivaay and Anika promise to accept each other the way they are.
The episode starts with Anika and Shivaay jointly fighting the criminals. However, one of the criminals gets his hands on a gun and points it towards Anika. He fires one bullet which makes Shivaay furious. He walks thunderously towards the criminal and literally starts hitting him saying that how dare he fire a bullet on his wife. "Does he even know who she is, she is Shivaay Singh Oberoi's wife," Shivaay declares. Amidst this, police arrests the criminals.
Anika embraces Shivaay in a tight hug post this incident. She tells him why did he have to go like this...to which Shivaay says because he is like her. Like she cannot see him in trouble, he cannot to and that is why it is important for him to know everything about the people he loves and cares about.
Anika tells him that she is afraid that any dark secret of her past might ruin their relationship. However, Shivaay professes and promises her that nothing between them is going to change rather they won't let it change. They will stand rock solid against all the adversities trying to find solutions to the problems. He professes to her that he will in no condition leave her. They both promise that they will try and accept each other the way they are and try and change for each other- irrespective of the time it takes.
Later, the duo starts walking trying to find the exit to the jungle when Anika finds her scooter aka Champa. Shivaay is embarrassed to sit on it but he somehow manages to. The duo has a hearty banter and with Haste Haste Kat Jaye Raste playing in the background, they enjoy their love ride back home.
Upon reaching home, Pinky questions Shivaay where was he and how can he be so irresponsible. She indirectly taunts Anika for being the reason behind Shivaay's carelessness. Pinky feels jealous seeing Shivaay's growing love towards Anika.
In the bedroom, while Shivaay tries to attend Anika's leg got swelled, Pinky enters and reminds Shivaay that he has to attend a press conference today. She also casually reminds him of the gotra pooja only to agitate Shivaay who refuses to do any such pooja. Later Anika questions Shivaay that why is he saying no to it given that it is their family tradition. Shivaay tells her that he is just trying to change for her like they have promised and that for him, she is more important than her khoon, khaandaan or lineage. Anika is overwhelmed after hearing this.
