Ishqbaaz May 1 written update: Pinky misleads Shivaay into finding Anika's family background
Pinky vows to go to any extent to separate Anika and Shivaay
The episode starts with Shivaay embracing Anika in a tight hug as he gets emotional reminiscing about Anika's childhood. H gets disturbed thinking of the hardships faced by the love of his life. He takes Anika to the kitchen and forcibly feeds her. Anika keeps asking him what's wrong but Shivaay continues to feed her thinking about the hard times she faced during her childhood.
Later, Shivaay enters Rudra's room. He smashes the TV in his room to vent out his anger. He expresses his inner feelings to Rudra cursing himself for being the SSO he is. He appreciates Anika for being such a strong person and criticizes himself for having such a narrow mindset. He tells Rudra that he will try and be a better person and that after knowing a thread from Anika's past, he feels terrible. Rudra tells him to let bygones be bygones and instead try and keep Anika happy now.
Pinky calls Shivaay as the guruji has come. Pinky tells Shivaay that they can hold the pooja tomorrow since now Anika's family name is known. Shivaay resists but Pinky continues to play the same card. Shivaay gets frustrated and says that Mr. Bajaj is not Anika's grandfather. Pinky uses the opportunity to instigate Shivaay against Anika. She promises to go to any extent to separate Anika and Shivaay.
She bribes the orphanage receptionist to call Shivaay and mislead him with Anika's family details. According to her plan, Shivaay reaches the address to find Anika's mother. He feels weird of entering a prostitute area, however, he tries to get to know the details. He enquires about Anika's mom and leaves his number to a paan walla asking him to forward it to her mom whenever she comes. Pinky smiles to herself thinking that Shivaay will feel disgusted the day he finds out (misleading info) that Anika's mom sang at a dance bar.
