Ishqbaaz April 27 written update: Shivaay and Anika on the threshold to unravel each other's true identity
Shivaay and Anika try to find out the truth about each other's identity.
The episode starts with Shivaay holding on to Anika, embracing her in his arms as she cries her heart out. Anika suddenly realizes the intimacy and gets embarrassed. She tries to leave when Shivaay stops her and asks if she was feeling embarrassed. He consoles her and tells her that nothing has changed between them and that he needs a little time to change his mindset. Anika tells him that she has all the time in the world but he must remember that she is only Anika and that identity of her will never change.
Later, they go to bed. Shivaay keeps staring at Anika deep in his thoughts when Anika kicks him in sleep twice. Shivaay wakes her up and they share a cute banter. The two also indulge in hand wrestling when Shivaay cheats and wins the game. Anika accuses him of cheating but Shivaay asks her to proof. Anika finds it too cheap and shy to show what action he did (he gives her a flying kiss to divert her mind)
Shivaay later tries to bribe Sahil by cooking food for him and trying to know details of the orphanage Anika was adopted from. Sahil understands his intentions and informs him that he doesn't know the address but she was adopted from an orphanage near Borivali.
On the other hand, Anika is trying to trace and find out the truth behind Shivaay and Mahi's connection. Both try to hide this with each other.
Late, Shivaay is seen talking on the phone as he finally traces the address of the orphanage. He questions himself is what he is doing is right but then he brushes it off saying that he can do this, he must know what family his wife comes from. Pinky overhears Shivaay saying that he will find Anika's family traces and she decides to follow him.
Meanwhile, Anika too reaches the city hospital to get the results of the DNA reports.
