Ishqbaaz April 26 written update: Shivaay tries to calm down an emotional Anika
Shivaay tries to explain himself to an emotional Anika.
The episode starts with Anika and Shivaay sharing an intense hug. Later Shivaay is seen trying to divert his mind as he indulges in cooking with his other 2 Oberoi brothers. Omkara tells him that he can share whatever is troubling him but Shivaay being Shivaay tries to dodge the query. However, he later explains his plight to both Omkara and Rudra. He tells Omkara that he knows Om doesn't resonate with his thoughts about the family name but that is important to him and he just can't get those things out of his system.
Anika overhears his confession and confronts him. She tells him that always knew in this fight she is going to end up being the sole loser but she, however, went ahead with it because she somewhere believed that what she shared with Shivaay was above all these trivial things. She leaves home getting furious. Shivaay tries to stop her but Anika doesn't pay heed to his words.
Rudra comes to Shivaay and tells him that he has a lot of explanations to do. Shivaay sits with Sahil and continuously keeps staring at his phone. When Sahil questions him, he tells him that he tried to stop Anika but she didn't. Sahil takes his sister's side and says that if he is SSO then his sister is also no less. Shivaay calls Anika 'Jhansi Ki Rani'. Shivaay then calls Anika but Anika disconnects his call. Sahil advises Shivaay to go and get her and informs him where he could finally find Anika.
Shivaay leaves to get Anika back but Anika resists. She even throws water on him to which Shivaay says that they are a perfect couple and that's their trademark. After several attempts, he just picks her up and takes her to Oberoi mansion forcefully. Anika tells him that she knows that he wouldn't be able to accept her knowing that she doesn't have a family name. Shivaay tries to calm her down and Anika vents out hugging him. She tells him that she can fight with the entire world but not him.
