Ishqbaaz April 20 written update: Shivaay and Anika's closeness disturbs Pinky
Shivaay and Anika's love blossoms. Pinky is disturbed.
The episode starts with Shakti furiously calling someone. Pinky comes and shares her grief with him, however, Shakti snaps back which hurts Pinky more. Shakti later pacifies her and tells her that Shivaay hasn't changed and it is all in her mind. Pinky prepares a lotion for Shivaay.
In the meanwhile, Shivaay and Anika share some romantic moments, The two try to make the bed when they laugh at each other's condition. They are interrupted when Pinky comes to apply lotion on Shivaay. However, Anika cries in pain during this time and Shivaay ignoring Pinky applies the lotion she brought for him to Anika. This upsets Pinky. She leaves from there crying.
Later, Shakti comes to Shivaay to remind him that there is a press conference held in his honour that he must attend. Anika tries to apply sindoor on her forehead but finds it difficult. Shivaay helps her apply sindoor and tells her that it's okay to ask for help. Anika responds saying that since childhood she has done everything on her own- be it any injury, pain or happiness, she has bear everything alone and thus doesn't need anyone's help.
However, Shivaay argues saying that everyone cannot do everything alone and needs a partner if not help. Anika says that she will ask for help only on one condition. If Shivaay confesses that he is smitten by her and finds her very attractive. They chase each other. That's when Sahil comes and the duo starts arguing over Sahil. The trio share a lovely moment. However, witnessing their camaraderie, Pinky gets disturbed.
Sahil and Anika talk heart to heart. Anika tells Sahil that though she loves SSO, he doesn't love her back and she is happy in the present and doesn't want to think about the future.
Shivaay during the press conference hails the woman in his life without whom he couldn't have been alive and receiving the Businessman of the Year award. Pinky feels elated thinking he is talking about her, however, to her shock, Shivaay calls out Anika on the stage.
