Ishqbaaz April 18 written update: Shivaay attacked by goons, Mahi vows to save him
Shivaay is attacked by goons sent by Kamini. She ousts Mahi out of her house.
The episode starts with Mahi telling Kamini to not do anything adverse with Shivaay. He tells her that during his stay in the Oberoi house, he understood the value and meaning of family. Kamini lashes out at Mahi asking him what is wrong with him that he is now praising the Oberois. She ousts him out of the house and asks him to never show his face again to her. Mahi leaves the house with a heavy heart.
On the other hand, Anika and Shivaay continue their cute nok-jhok. Anika continues to tease Shivaay saying that she can read his eyes and knows what he feels. Shivaay asks her to explain her statement and not beat around the bush. Anika tells him that she knows that Shivaay is completely in aww with her and that he thinks she is breathtakingly beautiful. She had brought colours into his black and white boring life. Shivaay dismisses her claims and says she has gone mad. Anika tells him she had expected him to react the same way, hence, she isn't surprised.
However, Shivaay gets romantic with her and then takes her to bed. He receives a call from someone and he leaves. Amidst this, Pinky shares her pain with Dadi, she expresses her grief of feeling ignored by her son. Dadi assures her that she is overthinking, however, Pinky sobs her heart out to her.
Mahi comes to Kamini and asks her if she has sent goons to kill Shivaay. He tells her that he will not let anything happen to him.
Shivaay reaches godown and a few goons attack him. He fights them all but one of the goon successfully hits him on the head injuring him. Shivaay collapses on the floor.
