Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasma Written Update 17th April 2017 - The men discuss the locket incident
The Gokuldhaam men meet at the Soda shop and discuss the locket love test and its results
All the Gokuldhaam men are at the Soda shop. Mr. Iyer announces that Jethalal will be treating them that day as he got out of the Ratnawali situation that morning. Mr. Iyer says that had Dayaben not defended him he would have been in a fix. Jethalal’s phone rings and his employee tells him that he will be late for work the following day and hence someone will be required to take care of the shop the following morning. Mr. Iyer tells Jethalal that he was saved that morning as Dayaben had taken care of the situation and Jethalal says that there was no situation for him to be saved. Anjali calls Taarak and tells him to rush home as she wants to talk to him. Mr. Hathi’s phone rings next and he realises that it is a wrong number. Sodhi says that they will not be able to talk and have a conversation as one by one everybody’s phones are ringing one after the other. Soon after Mr.Iyer’s phone rings and Sodhi gets extremely annoyed. Sodhi says that the objective of all the men meeting is to relax and have a good time and not to be on the phone. Sodhi collects everybody’s phones and tells Abdul to switch off everybody’s phones. Just then Sodhi’s phone rings and Jethalal tells him to answer the phone. Post the phone call Sodhi asks everybody to switch off their phone. A by passer’s phone rings and Sodhi switches that off too.
Taarak then continuing the conversation says that a husband wife relationship is based on trust.
Taarak says that a husband can live a happy life only when his wife is happy. Bhide blames Jethalal for creating a ruckus in their lives by saying that every husband is attracted to another woman.
Taarak narrates the incident of how Anjali interrogated him earlier that day about whether he is attracted to other women. Mr.Bhide then narrates how Madhavi did the same thing back at their house and asked him too if he is attracted to anybody. Dr. Hathi tells everyone how he avoided the topic the minute his wife asked him the same question. Sodhi then tells everybody that all he did was pick Roshan up and spin her around. Everyone asks Mr. Iyer what happened at his house and he says that he merely told Babita that he is attracted only to her.
Jethalal says that he only said the attraction thing to save himself from Ratnawali’s verbal attacks. Everybody asks Jethalal whether Dayaben asked him any questions regarding the same and Jethalal says that she did, but he just turned the tables around and asked her why she lied to him and made him wear the locket in the first place.
Mr.Iyer then asks Jethalal which woman he is attracted to.Jethalal says that he cannot tell Mr.Iyer whom he is attracted to as he does not know whether Mr.Iyer will feel good or not. All the men rpod Jethalal then. Jethalal tells everybody that he is attracted to deepia padukone. All the men laugh. The men joke and laugh about everything. They all then wonder where Popatlal has disappeared. Jethalal asks Abdul to call Popatlal and ask him where he is. Jethalal calls him and puts the phone on speaker. They all tell Popatlal that they miss him and that he should meet them. Popatlal tells everybody that he is just busy with work. Popatlal tells everybody that he may not be there in person but he knows off all the happenings that take place in Gokuldhaam society.
Popatlal asks everybody whether they clicked a photograph of Jethalal when his locket turned black in colour and Jethalal denies anyone having done so.
Sodhi’s friend Sherry comes to Gokuldhaam society and Sodhi runs to him and hugs him in happiness.
