Jethalal undergoes the love test only to make him fail the test
Ratnawali behen calls Dayaben on stage and Jethalal asks Ratnawali why she is calling Babita on stage. Dayaben tells him that Ratnawali is calling Dayaben on stage and not Babita.
Dayaben gets shy on stage and everybody makes fun of her. Jethalal tries to avoid the testing of the locket. Jethalal says that no matter what the colour of the locket, all the locket will do is prove his already existent love for Dayaben. He continues by saying that as he already loves Dayaben, he does not need to give any proof for his love. Dayaben tells Jethalal that the love test is free of cost and hence he should just get it done. Ratnawali tells Jethalal that it is ok if he does not want to do the test, but Dayaben will never be able to forget this. Jethalal then finally agrees to undergo the test. Ratnawali is about to spray the locket only to realise that her spray is over. Jethalal gets happy on seeing this. His happiness is short-lived when Ratnawali announces that the she has a second bottle of spray. Ratnawali sprays the locket and turns into a charcoal black coloured stone. Dayaben horror is unbelievable as is everybody else’s in the society. All the members of the Gokuldhaam society throw Jethalal out of the society. Jethalal realises he is day dreaming about being kicked out of the society. Jethalal blames the locket for turning black. Ratnawali tells him that her gems never lie. Everybody refuses to believe that Ratnawali and the result of the locket test. Everybody supports Jethalal. After hearing everybody’s accusations, Ratnawali announces that these men who are now blaming her lockets, were ten minutes ago building bridges of praise for the lockets. Jethalal tries to justify the black colour of the locket by saying that as the locket reads the mind of men, the locket has mistaken his attraction to another woman as love. He explains to everybody that every man has some beautiful woman in his mind whom he finds attractive. All the men support Jethalal’s explanation. Ratnawali says that his explanation is ok, but if his explanation is valid, then why didn’t the lockets of the other men turn black.Ratnawali tells Jethalal to stop lying and just accept the truth.
Jethalal loses control and says that a locket cannot decide how much he loves his wife Dayaben.
