Kumkum Bhagya April 10 written update: Abhi tells Pragya that he cannot marry her
Pragya is heartbroken after Abhi decides not to betray Tanu.
The episode begins with Pragya talking to Abhi’s picture thinking of how things are going to change for the better . She remembers her mother’s words suddenly when she had said that everything will be fine. Pragya decides to tell Dadi about it. Dadi warns Purab of stepping out his room. Pragya comes in that room and Dadi asks her what happened. Pragya is unable to control herself and everybody the truth. She says that Abhi confessed his feelings for her Everybody rejoice. They all are very happy for Pragya and decide to get Abhi and Pragya married.
Tanu’s mom tells Abhi that she has to confess something. She lies to him about having pancreatic cancer and how Tanu doesn't know of it. She tells Abhi how important the Marriage is for her. She also says that seeing Tanu get married to Abhi is her last wish.
Meanwhile, Purab, Dadi and everyone plan Pragya and Abhi’s wedding. Pragya reveals that Tanu’s mom has spoken to Abhi alone which worries everyone. They feel that she must have manipulated Abhi into marrying Tanu and not Pragya.
Abhi talks to Pragya disappointedly. He says that what they were going to do wrong to Tanu by marrying each other. He says that cannot betray her. Pragya is heartbroken.
