Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasma Written Update 6th April 2017 - Anjali Mehta’s paranoia
Anjali Mehta has a bad dream and prays to god for the marital security of all the Gokuldhaam women
Dayaben is happy that Jethalal is finally wearing the locket. She rings up Anjali and tells her the good news. Everybody shares a conference call and all the wives give each other the news that their respective husbands have worn the locket. The women agree on meeting at the club house at 12 and then keep the phone.
Taarak wakes up only to be greeted by a chirpy Anjali. Anjali tells him that today is an extremely happy day for her and hence has made him tea with sugar in it. Taarak gets happy too on drinking the tea. Anjali asks Taarak if he kept the locket around his neck, the entire night, and Taarak tells her that he has as it is something that his beloved wife has gifted him. Just then Ratnawali Behen walks into the Mehta house and Anjali introduces Taarak to Ratnawali. Anjali asks Ratnawali why she has come to their house so early and Ratnawali says that she decided it would be best to go to everybody’s house one at a time. Ratnawali then explains the spray mystery to Taarak and Taarak gets nervous. Anjali tells Taarak not to be worried as she trusts him completely. Ratnawali behen sprays Taarak’s locket and the locket turns black. Anjali is shocked and begins to cry. Taarak tells Anjali that he does not know how the locket has turned black. Anjali continues to cry as the truth behind her husband’s affair is out. Just then Anjali wakes up with a jerk and realises that whatever she thought was just a bad dream. Anjali feels as though the Gokuldhaam women made a mistake by deciding to make their husbands wear the lockets. The following morning Anjali wakes up and looks worried. Taarak asks her what’s wrong and Anjali denies anything being wrong.
She calls up Babita and tells her about her nightmare from the previous night. Babita calms her down by saying that it was just a dream and she should take her mind off the dream. Anjali keeps the phone but continues to be anxious. She walks out only to hear Taarak talking to a woman on the phone. He is reciting out loud romantic lines to the woman and Anjali gets a little jealous. She then asks him if he loves her and Taarak says that obviously he loves her. Anjali asks him if he loves her and only her and Taarak tells her that just because he was talking to a woman on the phone does not mean he loves anybody else. A worried Anjali then goes to the temple to pray to god and tell him to protect her marriage alongside that of all the other Gokuldhaam women.
Dayaben calls out to Anjali from the balcony and Dayaben asks her if Taarak wore the locket or removed it. Anjali says that he has. Dayaben then goes inside the house only to see that the television screen is flashing with the news of a man having an affair with another woman, and his wife hit him with her shoes and kicked him out of the society. Jethalal and she watch the news in despair. Jethalal then says that they are lucky that they do not have a single man like that in their society. Dayaben then asks Jethalal if he is still wearing the locket she gave him the previous night, when he says yes, Dayaben asks him to show her the locket. Jethalal shows it to her and then gets suspicious about the locket and its purpose.
