Ishqbaaz April 5 written update: Entire Oberoi family stands united against Mahi
The entire Oberoi khaandaan is united to expose Mahi and get to the root of the conspiracy
The episode starts with Shivaay asking Pinky to calm down and proceed with the plan. As per the plan, Pinky calls Kamini to enquire if they need more dowry or are they pleased with the Rs 10 crore bangles. Kamini being herself answers in positive. Pinky comes to the breakfast table cribbing that Kamini has now asked for more dowry.
Tez says so what? It's my daughter's wedding and I will do whatever it takes for it. He says that instead of the wedding, he will gift his daughter RS 200 crore diamonds which he had kept for her wedding. Mahi gets elated thinking about the money and wonders how will Kamini react when she hears about Rs 200 crore diamonds. He is forced to end his monologue after Shakti interrupts and reminds him that the lockers in which the diamonds have been kept can only be opened by him.
Mahi unaware of the plan agrees for it. The entire Oberoi family stands united against Mahi.
Cut to the locker room, the family pesters Mahi to open the locker, Mahi wonders how will he open the locker without the key. Shakti reminds him that his eyes are the password to the locker. Mahi gets terrified thinking now he will stand exposed.
However, according to their plan to confuse Mahi, the first locker gets unlocked as Shivaay comes secretly from behind and helps the machine detect his eyes, but when Mahi tries to open the second locker, he fails miserably and the alarm bell starts buzzing.
Later, Mahi tells Kamini about it which angers her more.
Back to Oberoi mansion, the entire family waits for Mahi to come, so that they can move forward with their plan. Shivaay tells them that now he is planning to trap Mahi in a murder case so that he can expose himself and the mastermind behind this act. The family advises him to instead hand Mahi over to police but Shivaay insists that he needs to get to the root of this matter.
After some time, Shivaay and Anika meet in the kitchen and share some intense moments.
