The women of the society after great difficulty, manage to convince their husbands to wear the lockets given to them by Ratnawali behen
Anjali gifts Taarak Mehta the locket given by Ratnawali behen. She asks him to wear it and Taarak showers her with compliments. Anjali explains the entire situation to Taarak and Taarak tells Anjali that he does not want to wear the locket. Taarak tells Anjali that he knows why she wants him to wear the locket. For a moment, Anjali is taken aback. Taarak tells her that today she will gift him a locket and then ask for a necklace in return. Anjali is relieved and tells Taarak that they need to go to the Gokuldhaam club house the following day to meet Ratnawali Behen. Anjali tells Taarak that if he wears the locket, it will give her mental piece.
At the Sodhi household, Roshan Sodhi’s Soniye loses the locket. When she tells Sodhi that she got him a locket, Roshan gets extremely happy and then takes away his wife’s tension by showing her that he already has the locket around his neck. Roshan then asks Soniye why she got him a locket and she explains the reason behind gifting the locket to him. Sodhi tells her that he honestly does not care about the reason but is happy that she got him a locket.
Babita Iyer tells Mr. Iyer to shut his eyes and then puts a locket around his neck. When Mr. Iyer asks her what she has put around his neck, she tells him that it is a locket. Mr. Iyer tells Babita that wearing a locket is against his principles as he thinks people should not waste money on gems and instead should spend money on science. Babita emotionally blackmails Mr. Iyer into wearing the locket.
Next up, Dayaben tries to get Jethalal to wear the locket. Dayaben asks Jethalal why he took so long at the soda shop. Jethalal tells her that he will not tell her the reason as she and Babita did not tell him what their secret meeting was about. Dayaben asks Jethalal if his love remains as powerful as it used to be when they first got married. Jethalal tells Dayaben that it is indeed and she can tests his love in any way that she wants. Dayaben asks him to wear the locket she has got and he decides to wear it. Just before putting it on he asks her how she is testing his love by merely making him wear a locket. Jethalal begins to ask her a lot of questions and Dayaben tries to avoid it. Dayaben taunts him and says that the fact that he is asking all these questions means that he does not love her anymore. Jethalal continues to prod and ask her where she got the locket from. Dayaben explains the Ratnawali behen situation and instructions to Jethalal but he refuses to listen to her.
Dayaben calls up Babita and tells her that despite her trying to make him wear the locket, Jethalal refuses to put it on. She then asks Babita to convince him to wear the locket. On Babita convincing him Jethalal finally agrees on wearing the locket.
