Ishqbaaz April 4 written update: Shivaay and Anika grow closer as they plan to trap Mahi
Anika and Shivaay share some romantic moments as they plan to trap Mahi in his own plan
The episode starts with Kamini asking Mahi not to destroy the plan and go for the interview. Mahi is worried because he doesn't know anything about business. Kamini uses the illegitimate card to force Mahi into going for the interview, Mahi finally obliges.
In the mean while Anika looks for Mahi but to vain. She hears a distant noise and tries to find for the source of the noise. Saumya tries to bang in the wall to drive some attention but fails miserably. As Mahi proceeds for the interview, Tez comes and tells him not to fool the family. Mahi gets ocnfused, however, Tez further tells that what interview is he talking about? He has already given an interview. As part of their plan, Anika and Tez play alongside to further confuse Mahi.
As Mahi exits, Shivaay comes from behind teasing Anika. They steal some lovey-dovey moments with each other.
Mahi tells Ranveer that if he did not give the interview, who did? He conveys that maybe Shivaay has run away from his trap. Ranveer shows him Shivaay's live footage and says that Shivaay is still in his trap. Mahi wonders what the hell is wrong. He gets suspicious but Ranveer brushes it aside saying if Shivaay had escaped the trap, Mahi would have been arrested by now.
Cut to Oberoi mansion, Anika brings coffee for Shivaay. Anika expresses her helplessness on how Shivaay has been forced to live in his own house in secret. However, Shivaay assures her that things will soon be fine. He thanks her for all the support she has been extending, to which, Anika pulls of Maine Pyaar Kia dialogue with a twist, "Pati Patni ke riste ka ushool hai, no sorry , no thank you!"
Anika finds it difficult to differentiate between the real Shivaay and Mahi and breaks down to Shivaay asking him to do something at the earliest. Shivaay comforts her and says that she is her strength and must not fall weak now. They will commence their plan tomorrow itself he assures her.
