Dev adds some flavour and fun to Saurabh’s traditional Bengali Sangeet
Bijoy waits for Sonakshi to come down in order to click a family picture, and when Sonakshi comes down Suhana refuses to click a family picture without Dev .This upsets Bijoy and he tells Suhana that Dev is not a part of their family. Dev hears this and tells him that he will get a family picture clicked later with Suhana. Bijoy then asks the photographer to click a picture and to make it snappy. Dev just gets into the photograph and stands right next to Sonakshi. The photographer asks Dev to place his hand on Sonakshi’s shoulder. This agitates Bijoy even more.
Dev observes a sense of tension between Saurabh and Ronita. He asks Saurabh what the matter is and Saurabh explains to Dev that he is trying to be romantic with Ronita but Ronita is shy and cannot say I love you to him in front of everybody. Dev explains to Saurabh that women enjoy romance but are unable to express. Dev adds some spice to Saurabh’s traditional Bengali Sangeet and with the stars of the upcoming show Jatt ki Jugni performing a dance number to their title track, the night turns into an enjoyable affair. Dev then invites all the guests to get on the dance floor and shake a leg or two. Dev then personally calls Ronita’s parents and Saurabh’s parents on the dance floor. Ronita’s mother is not seen anywhere and when Dev goes to look for her, he finds her being fishy and wandering around the house. When Dev asks her what she is doing wandering around the house, she says she was looking for the washroom and fretfully goes onto the dance floor.
After the parents dance, the happy couple grace the dance floor. Saurabh asks Ronita to profess her love for him in front of everybody and when she denies to do so he asks Dev to teach her a thing or two about love. Dev tells her the true meaning of love in his experience. He tells Ronita that he has only loved one girl in his entire life and then turns and walks towards Sonakshi. Sonakshi gets nervous but Dev walks up to her and kneels down on the floor and tells Suhana that he loves her immensely. Suhana hugs him and tells him that she too loves him.
Dev tells Ronita she should express her love to Saurabh and finally Ronita dances and professes her love for him. Everybody starts dancing. Jatin tells Sonakshi that it is only now that he understands why Sonakshi loved Dev so much; it is because he has a clear heart. Jatin helps Sonakshi fix her earrings and Dev notices all this from afar. Sonakshi walks into the kitchen and Dev tells her that he can see what she is doing and that it is not right. Then he stomps off and bumps into Jatin. Jatin apologises to him and dev tells him that he does not want his sorry. Jatin is confused as to what is happening and asks Sonakshi. Sonakshi tells him that Dev has gone mad!
Dev walks into the room and wonders why he cares about Sonakshi so much. Just then Golu enters. Dev asks him who got him there and he says Mamaji dropped him off. Jatin enters the room and says hello to Golu. Golu tells Jatin that when Dev and Golu first saw him they thought he was Suhana’s father!
