Beyhadh March 29 Written Updates: Maya gets Drunk
While Arjun and Saanj try to catch up over lost time, Maya creates some drama by pole dancing and drinking champagne.
Samay leaves Saanj and Arjun alone to talk and spend some time together. Saanj invites Arjun for Ayan’s engagement. Arjun asks her why she is inviting him in this atmosphere. Saanj tells Arjun that she had mentioned to Maya about Ayan’s engagement. Arjun says Maya had mentioned it to him but he forgot about it as he was drowned in work. Saanj is shocked to hear that Arjun could forget about Ayan’s engagement. Arjun tells her that if Vandana and Ayan could forget him, then why should he not forget them.
Maya then appears out of nowhere and starts pole dancing in the club. On seeing this Saanj asks Arjun whether everything between him and Maya is fine or not. Maya does a performance in front of everyone. Arjun tells Saanj to leave and then walks onto stage and dances with Maya. He then whispers into her ear and asks why she is being a drama queen in front of the world to which Maya retorts saying that he is not the only one who has the right to be dramatic. Samay watches all this silently. Maya picks up a bottle of champagne and drinks from it. Arjun throws the bottle from her hands and picks her up and takes her out of the club. He then puts a drunken Maya in the car. Maya starts crying and pleading for Arjun not to leave her. Arjun then drives her home.
Saanj cannot stop thinking of Arjun. Samay looks at Saanj and places his hand on hers trying to tell her that it will be okay. Arjun walks into the Mehrotra household with Maya in his arms. Janhavi sees this and starts buzzing the bell on her wheelchair. She goes into Maya and Arjun’s room and sees that Maya is asleep. Through her facial expressions she asks Arjun what happened to Maya. Arjun walks towards her in fury and drags her wheelchair away from their bedroom and takes her to the terrace. He then sits down on one knee and wipes the sweat off her forehead. He tells Janhavi that whether it’s a closed room or relationship, suffocation occurs in both situations. He tells Janhavi that he knows that she too wants to run away from Maya, but Maya is the one who decides their limits. Arjun tells her, that today as Maya is asleep, the two of them will breathe like free birds. He makes Janhavi her extra spicy soup and feeds it to her. Janhavi is very happy to see that Arjun cares for her so much. Arjun apologises to Janhavi for the life that they both have. Arjun then reflects back on his life and regrets the mistake he made of marrying Maya. Arjun then puts Janhavi to bed.
Just as he walks into his bedroom he sees that his entire bedroom is decorated with candles and Maya is sitting on the bed with a dupatta on her head. She tells Arjun that it is time for them to have a baby. Arjun ignores Maya and does his own thing. He tells Maya that he is going to leave her. Maya stops him and tells him that if he leaves she will die. Arjun tells her to die. Maya tells him that Arjun is her life; and Arjun tells her that he is not her love but her obsession. Arjun goes on to tell Maya that in the three years of their marriage she has ruined his life. He continues packing his bag and tells Maya that she is the only person to blame for him being the loneliest person in the world. He asks her why she didn’t tell him that Ayan is going to get engaged in spite of Saanj telling her to do so. Maya tells Arjun that she knows the only reason Arjun wants to leave her is because Saanj has come back. Arjun tells Maya that he is leaving and that is a sign of his courage. Maya goes to the balcony, climbs onto a ledge and threatens to jump off. Arjun tries to stop her.
