Shakti Astitva Ehsaas Ki March 29 Written Update: Saumya tries to kill herself
Saumya tries to end her life by jumping into a pond. Harman saves her in time.
Surbhi and Harman are in the bedroom but Harman is unable to get any sleep. He gets out of bed and walks out. He then thinks of going into Saumya’s room as he enjoys waking her up and troubling her immensely. When he walks into her room he does not see her and gets worried. He looks for her outside the room and around the house but is unable to find her. He then wonders where she could have possibly gone at this hour of the night. He sees that the house gate is open and wonders how that is possible as the gate had been shut before they slept. He then realises that it is probably Saumya who opened the gate and walked out.
Saumya, standing by the side of the village pond, talks to God and asks God why she was born as a kinnar. She asks God what her identity is. She recalls how, since childhood she has faced various hardships and been a shame to her entire family. She realises that she has been the reason for disappointing all the people who loved and trusted her. Saumya misses her mother. She cannot stop crying and begs her mother to come back and protect her in her shadow. Unable to take the constant insults thrown her way and in order to be reunited with her mother, Saumya intends to jump into the pond in order to end her life.
A couple of men are drinking by the pond and spot Saumya jumping into the pond. They recognise her as Saumya Singh and rush to the Singh household and inform Harman and the Singhs that Saumya has jumped into the pond. Harman rushes to the pond on hearing this and instantly jumps into the pond to save Saumya. When Harman jumps into the pond, Surbhi screams out his name in worry. Surbhi recalls her earlier conversation with Saumya and blames herself for Saumya’s actions. She prays to God for Saumya’s well-being. Surbhi is unable to control herself and cries and yelps in anxiety. Surbhi spots some movement in the water and rushes to that end of the pond. She then runs back to the villagers and asks for a matchstick. She lights up the matchstick and throws it on a stack of dry grass by the pond. Just then everybody is stunned to see Harman step out of the water with Saumya.
