Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasma March 27 Written Update: Has Popat Bhai found his life partner?
Popatlal is all excited when a prospective bride and her family visit him. But alas there has been some misunderstanding.
A family comes looking for Popat Bhai. Popat Bhai gets nervous as he realises the ladkiwale have come to see him. He asks the society members to handle the situation in case he messes something up. Popat Bhai welcomes the ladkiwale. The ladkiwale explain that they are late as their train was delayed by 10 hours. Popat Bhai looks at the girl, Jharna and is love-struck. Popat Bhai introduces the society members to the ladkiwale. The ladkiwale are eager to talk about the marriage. They discuss about Popat Bhai and his career.
Popat Bhai too gets carried away and starts talking about how being a journalist is indeed an exciting job. Everybody assures the ladkiwale that their daughter will be happy in Popat Bhai’s home. Just as they think everything is going good, the ladkiwale ask Popat Bhai and the rest of the society members present to call the boy whom they have come to meet.A perplexed Popat Bhai says that he is the boy they have come to see. Everybody realises that there has been some confusion. Jharna tries to act like a detective and figure out why there has been a misunderstanding. She realises that the boy she wanted to meet was called Raj and his surname was Popat and that is where the muddle took place.
Popat Bhai tells Jharna to now forget about Raj Popat and just agree to marry him, but the ladkiwale refuse Popatlal’s proposal. Jharna apologises to Popatlal and says that he will definitely find someone he loves, in his life, soon enough. Popatlal is dejected. Popatlal decides to fire love-birds marriage bureau. He calls up the bureau and yells at the lady on the other side of the telephone. Popatlal narrates the entire incident to the Marriage Bureau and the lady in charge apologises for the mistake and assures him nothing of this sort will ever take place again. Everybody consoles Popat Bhai that everything happens for the good.
Jethalal is walking around the society in the night and meets Babita and Krishnan Iyer. Babita asks him why he is walking around with his hand on his face and Krishnan Iyer makes fun of him. After being amused at the cost of Jethalal, Krishnan and Babita Iyer leave.
Jethalal then goes to Taarak Mehta's house and narrates the incident that took place with Krishnan Iyer earlier. Taarak Mehta consoles him and then leaves. Taarak then explains the meaning of Gudi Padwa to his wife and the show ends on a sweet note!
