Beyhadh March 23 Written Update: Arjun's hatred towards Maya continues
While Maya continues to be obsessed with Arjun, his hatred for Maya only keeps increasing.
Maya drives Arjun home and on the way in the car, Arjun tells Maya to leave him. Maya tells him that how could he talk of leaving her and then take her name in the same sentence. She tells him, that her love is his only limit and that she will be with him forever. She then wishes him a happy anniversary.
The following day, Maya wakes up in the morning. She is wearing a t-shirt with Arjun’s face on it. She wakes up and looks at the Maya tattoo on Arjun’s chest. She is about to kiss him but stops herself as she does not want to be the one that wakes him up. She then sets his flip flops and clothes out for him and watches him sleep from behind the bathroom door.
Saanj is flustered in her room as Shubh has messed their room up. Saanj tells her parents that her boyfriend Samay is the man who has helped her forget her love for Arjun. She also tells her parents that Arjun is irreplaceable in her life. Her parents then tell her that the ring they had given Saanj when she went to Mauritius for Arjun was a false heirloom and the one they are handing over to her now is the actual one. They ask her if this time her love for Samay is true, as they will only give her the family heirloom if it is. Saanj agrees.
Maya serves Arjun breakfast and asks him what he wants with it. Arjun tells her he wants 2 teaspoons of poison instead. Maya sees that Arjun is not eating food anymore so she asks him what’s wrong. Arjun asks her what’s cooking in her notorious brain. Maya, being her delusional self gets up to feed Arjun with her own two hands. Arjun holds her by the wrist and hurts her. Maya tells him that her mother is watching so they should not wash their dirty linen in front of her and instead take this fight behind closed doors. Maya asks Arjun if she should cook something different for Arjun and he retaliates by saying that he wants two teaspoons of poison instead. Arjun is about to tell Maya he hates her, when she kisses him on the forehead and tells him that she loves him more than the world. Arjun gets up and walks away. When Maya asks him what he wants for lunch, he says divorce papers and stomps off to work. Janhavi keeps looking at Maya. Maya tells her mother that she would never leave Arjun. She continues to tell her that Arjun only jokes with her when he says that he wants to leave her. Janhavi sees the marks on Maya’s hand and instead of doing something about it, Maya is happy that even in his anger Arjun has left his mark on her. She kisses her hand and stares into space.
Saanj is at the jewellery store where she hears Maya’s voice. She turns around and spots Maya in the store. Just as Saanj is about to leave the store, a lady calls out to her. Maya hears Saanj’s name and turns around. The two come face to face and the tension builds. Maya is horrified on seeing Saanj and her anger from 3 years prior surfaces all over again. Maya drops hers mangalsutra and Saanj walks up to her and picks it up and hands it over to her. Saanj then wishes her a happy anniversary. Maya asks Saanj why she returned from London and Saanj says that she only came back for family. Saanj tells Maya to get Arjun and come along for Ayan’s wedding but Maya declines the invitation by saying some things can never be forgotten.
Arjun comes back home, and before he enters, curses his life and wife. He changes the name of their home to ‘Maya and Arjun hell’. As Arjun enters his home, Maya brings a candlelit cake and surprises him. He asks Maya which angle they are happy from, and suddenly the lights come on and Arjun figures out that Maya has organised a surprise party for him. Maya tells Arjun that she loves him and Arjun tells Maya that he hates her.
