Ishqbaaz 22 March written update: Anika is shocked to hear Shivaay's voice
Real Shivaay falls on the ground and calls out for Anika. Anika feels that Shivaay has called out to her. She feels something is wrong.
The episode begins with Anika thinking about about Priyanka’s marriage. Priyanka tells that Shivaay's current cooking style is more of a dhaba and not his usual continental style. Pinky comes and Daadi asks whether she has kept the jewels safe. Shivaay says he will get French toast for Pinky. He takes the keys of the locker and heads to her room. With help from his cellphone, the original Shivaay manages to escape from the his kidnappers. The other Shivaay opens the locker and takes out the jewels. He takes out the real jewels and replaces it with fake ones. He then walking out while Soumya spots him. She wonders what was he doing in Pinky’s room.
Real Shivaay falls on the ground and calls out for Anika. Anika too feels that also feels that Shivaay has called out to her. She thinks is Shivaay fine but in front of her. Shivaay hears a voice that tells him not to escape. Anika comes into the room calling out for Shivaay. Anika asks where Pinky's French toast is. Fake Shivaay says that he had gone out to attend a call. Anika asks about his phone. Fake Shivaay loses his temper. Anika says sorry. She moves forward to remove his apron. Fake Shivaay gets annoyed. He says he want to make breakfast for his mom and asks Anika not to disturb him.
Soumya comes to the dinner table and is surprised to know that Shivaay is making breakfast. She remembers if seeing him outside Pinky’s room. Real Shivaay starts screaming in frustration. A woman's voice tells real Shivaay that time will tell him about his kidnappers. He is unable to see the woman. Finally, he asks a maid who comes there. Shivaay tries asking her about the kidnappers and their plan. But the voice says the woman is deaf and dumb. Shivaay tries to explain to her. He thinks he needs to get home for his sister’s marriage. The woman leaves. At night, she taps his shoulder and signals him to be quiet. She gives him a phone. He calls up the Oberoi mansion. Anika hears the phone ringing and receives it.
