Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 21st March Written Update: Naitik does the Kanyadaan and forever gives away Naira to Kartik
Naksh asks Naitik to go ahead for the kanyadaan. The priest tells Naitik to give Naira’s hand into Kartik’s. Naira bursts out crying. Naitik tells Akshara that finally he has given away his princess.
The episode begins with Kartik and Naira getting ready for the seven vows of marriage. The families bring their respective priests for the function. The Jal Grahan ritual happens first. Rajshri says that it is sad to see a daughter leave home. Swarna and manish get nostalgic about Keerti's wedding too. Mishti plans to steal the shoes while Luv-Kush are told to protect them. The twins tell Mishti that Keerti has hidden the shoes in the palace. Mishti tells Naksh and Gayu that the shoes are in the palace. Naira wonders if Mishti has found the shoes or not to which Kartik asks her to focus on rituals. Keerti hides the shoes in a flower basket and heads off to hunt for Aditya. Naksh sees her doing it and steals it. Keerti runs behind him to get the shoes. She somehow manages to get the shoes and Naksh leaves. Aditya sees all this from a window. He throws a glass out of rage lmost hits Keerti. Manasi and Priyanka come there and take Keerti away.
The mantras get chanted and Naitik gets emotional. He remembers his moments with Naira while Devyaani consoles him. Manish asks Keerti about Aditya. The two priests have a fight over the mantras. The Singhanias smile and remeber Akshara's wedding. Daadi asks Singhania’s priest to apologise to Goenka’s. Naira interferes and says the mantra was not recited properly. She says I heard this mantra in Rishikesh. Goenka’s priest says he did cut it short to save time. Daadi gets upset. The priests continue with their fight. Naira and Kartik ask them to recite mantras after reading them from internet. The priests agree.
Naksh and Mishti talk about how they could not manage to get the shoes. Aditya gives a stern look to Keerti and Naksh sees it. Keerti leaves the place making Manish upset. The priest calls Naitik and Naira’s mom to do the Kanyadaan. Naira gets emotional while Kartik holds her hand. Manasi is uncomfortable. Daadi asks which set of grandparents will do the kanyadaan. Naira says my dad will do my kanyadaan. But Daadi says a couple is needed for it. Naira says that they believe Akshara is with them. Naira says that her father has been dreaming for this day. Kartik asks Goenkas to understand the situation from her point of view. Daadi agrees for it. Naksh asks Naitik to go ahead for the kanyadaan. The priest tells Naitik to give Naira’s hand into Kartik’s. Naira bursts out crying. Naitik tells Akshara that finally he has given away his princess. To be continued.
