Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai March 16 serial update: Kartik performs the wedding rituals, poses a challenge to Naira
Kartik and Naira's family take part in family rituals; share some light moments. In the meanwhile Kartik has challenged Naira.
The episode starts with Naitik worrying about Naira's wedding, but Badi Maa assures him that nothing will go wrong. Naira is worried and shares her trouble with her grandmother. She asks her to keep her faith in god intact and just go with the flow.
An excited Kartik dances in his own wedding. The entire family grooves in the baaraat, then begin the rituals. Naira's family welcome Kartik's family with garland. The ladies then conduct puja of the groom as they sing in delight.
However, the family for a moment gets nostalgic thinking of Akshara after a kid mentions about one of the traditional ceremony wherein the bride's mother pulls groom's nose. However, Kartik asks Naitik to perform the ritual. Kartik then performs another traditional ceremony called 'toran band'.
Naira speaks to her deceased mom sharing her joy as her childhood dream is finally getting fulfilled. Both the family share some playful moments.
Kartik's family appreciates the decor and the wedding arrangement. Suhasini asks the bride's family to bring Naira downstairs. Kartik is excited to finally be able to see his bride. The family asks Naitik and Naksh to bring their princess downstairs.
The family gets emotional thinking of Naira leaving her maayaka to go to her sasuraal. Naitik gets nostalgic thinking of Naira childhood, her innocence.
Kartik reveals to Gayu and her bhabhi that he has challenged Naira and he is sure that her brave bride will fulfil her challenge by hook or by crook.
