The episode begins with Dev parting ways with Sona. Sona is shocked to hear him say that. Dev explains how Ishwari is not happy with their relationship and how they are responsible for her ill health. Sona asks him to relax but in vain. He asks her to go. Sona gets angry on him and cries. She leaves with tears in her yes. Dev stands their heartbroken unable to stop her.
Sona reaches home. Her family gets worried on seeing her inconsolable. Sona tells her family that Dev has decided to part ways with her since Ishwari dislikes their relationship. She breaks down. Sona's father asks her to be strong and not to waste her energy and emotions for them. Elina backs Dev but Sona yells at her. Sona cries hugging Saurav. Next day, Sona goes to the hospital since Ishwari's doctor calls her to know about Ishwari's case. Sona gives the all the details and informs that she has resigned from her job, Ishwari gets shocked.
She asks Sona about the reason behind her resignation. Sona informs that she and Dev have broken up. Ishwari is surprised. She tells Sona that whatever happened, happened for good. Sona leaves. She comes home and informs that she has resigned. Her father supports her. She hugs Elina and cries. Says that she is not that strong as she is trying to show.
