The episode begins with Rose's mother Martha coming to Singhania family for the wedding. She becomes happy on meeting them all. She sees Rose all decked up in an Indian traditional attire and gets angry. She asks her to go and change into a gown. Rose refuses to make Martha angry. Martha asks everyone how could they lie to her. She informs that she had told Rukmani about the wedding to held in their style and not Indian. Everybody gets shocked. Akshara tries to convince but in vain. Martha goes to the room and cries. She insists on wearing her Cultured dress for Rose's engagement to which all agree. Everybody gets shocked to see Martha wearing a short skirt for the engagement. The guests start commenting on her. Martha feels bad and awkward on hearing the negative comments. Akshara asks all to not pass Ill comments. Martha thanks Akshara for being so supportive. She hugs her. Meanwhile, Gayu is falling for Kartik while Karthik is falling for Naira. Akshara becomes sad to see Naira not wearing the lehenga Akshara gave her. The entire family is happy on the amalgamation of two diverse cultures.
