Dev tells Sona that he loves her the 'way a man loves a woman' ; Sona cries tears of joy & hugs him in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi
The episode begins with Dev telling everybody about his engagement being called off. Ishwari gets worried but trusts her son. Radha tries to persuade Dev on not calling off the engagement but Dev refuses to listen. Everybody gets worried. Radha tells Ishwari to talk to Dev but Ishwari says that it's Dev's decision and she respects it. Dev goes to his room and changes. He just has Sona on his mind. He wears his orange shirt and leaves.
He meets Mr. Gujral and tries to explain that he did not want to ruin Natasha's life which is why he told her the truth. Mr. Gujral is hurt seeing his daughter cry. He tells Dev that he should have informed earlier if he did not want to get engaged to Natasha. Dev tries to justify but he refuses to listen and goes. Ishwari tries talking to him but he is no mood to listen calmly. Neha, Nikki and Rhea wonder why the engagement was called off.
Sona cries unaware of Dev and Natasha's engagement being called just for her. She thinks that Dev and Natasha must have got engaged. Dev fantasises Sona. He leaves for her house in the wee of hours. He waits beneath her building and eagerly waits for the sun to rise. Dev rushes up at Sona's home and waits for her to open the door. Sona thinking it's the milkman opens the door and is shocked to see Dev. He takes her out with her.
They go on a long drive. Dev takes her to all the places that remind him of his childhood days. He m takes her to the hospital where he was born, to his tution classes and his old rented home. Sona wonders why is he taking her out to all his childhood places. He finally gets her out the car as they both stand beneath Dev's old house where he lived when he was a kid. He gets a little romantic. He goes closer to her and says I Love You! Sona is unable to believe her ears.
She confirms that he likes her as a friend. To which Dev confidentially replies that he loves her the way a man loves a woman! Sona cries tears of joy and asks whether she can hug him. Dev opens his arms wide and Sona hugs him tight! To be continued.
