Ekta Kapoor presents Ssharad Malhotra and Kratika Sengar Dheer in her new love saga, Kasam...Tere Pyaar Ki!

The daily soap queen Ekta Kapoor is all set to bring in a fresh new concept of love; something that Ms. Kapoor excels in conceptualizing!
Who would have thought of bringing TV's Maharana Pratap and Jhansi Ki Rani together onscreen for a subtle romance drama. Coming up with a new show on Colors TV, Kasam...Tere Pyaar Ki stars Ssharad Malhotra and Kratika Sengar Dheer.
While talking to us Ssharad elaborated on his character role in the serial. He said, "Its about a Punjabi boy Rishi who believes in the concept of 'No Love.' He believes in befriending girls and probably also having a number of flings! But not in the ideology of Love! His life takes a complete U-turn when he actually falls in love with a simple and pretty Tanushree!" Talking about preparing for the role he said that he had to lose around 5-6 kgs to fit into the character of a young boy. "For Maharana Pratap I had to put on weight to look a mighty warrior, but for Kasam, I had to shed all the weight to fit into the shoes of a young lad." While talking about his current relationship status, Ssharad says, "I am very much single!"
On the other hand, Kratika says that portraying the character of Tanushree was no doddle for her! "I needed to sit with the director for 15-20 min before every scene to understand how to exactly go about acting the particular scene. I neither wanted it to be overdone nor look as if the character is least bothered about love!" Talking about her real life love story, Kratika says that a 'story' could be conceptualized upon it! "Meri love story kuch alag hi thi. Before my husband could ask me out for marriage, my father in law asked my hand for his son! It was surprising when he did that and then Nikitin and I told everybody in the family about our affair! It is indeed a unique love story," says Kritika.
The other cast includes fine actors like Vijay Kashyap as Raj Singh Bedi (Rishi’s father), Vibbha Chibber as Rano Bedi (Rishi’s mother), Vishnu Sharma as Virender Khurana (Tanushree’s father), Jyoti Gabba as Sharda Khurana (Tanushree’s mother) and many more.
Kasam...Tere Pyaar Ki revolves around a unique love story between Rishi and Tanushree and is based in the town of Amritsar. The show is all set to hit the small screens from 7th March at 10 pm on Colors channel.
