The pretty and petite Manasi Rachh who was seen in Karan Johar's Student of the Year is all set to essay the role of a happy go lucky student yet again. This time portraying the role of Aarohi in Bindaas Channel's hit youth show 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui', Manasi seems to be very excited for it. While in a candid conversation with us, she elaborated on why she relates to Aarohi, her fondness for the show and why Ranbir Kapoor makes her heart skip a beat!

How was your experience on working for the show yet again?!

Oh! It was very nice. The entire team of the was really young and energetic. So It was like a three-day party. I really missed shooting after it was over. it was completely different and exciting of an experience. Once you get to see the episode, you will realise what was I talking about.

What is your character all about?

I got to play a really mad character. Her name is Aarohi, a student who wants to go US. She is really quirky and mad. Aarohi follows her heart. she doesn't care about any cliche things or norms. She is simply carefree. The way she dresses up is really quirky and mad, very similar to her personality and age. She is simply Bindaas. The main part is when Aarohi eventually falls in love with someone and that is how things will go forward.

How similar are you to Aarohi?!

I relate to Arohi a lot. My name is Manasi which means follow your own heart; I simply follow my heart when taking up projects I don't really think much. I am very instinctive. If I love to do something, I Il will do it. I am very close to the character.

How would you ever want to spend your day with your ideal boyfriend?!

I would want to just spend a day properly; switch off my phone and just be there with each other and take off from the city. Probably, to the mountains is a great idea. I am hill station Baby completely. Every time I am bored I take off to a hill station.

So what is your idea of an Ideal boyfriend?!

Understanding! I am slightly mad in real life as well. I would want someone who won't get thrown off my madness and won't judge me. Just let me be as I am. Be sweet and supportive!

If you ever get a chance to date a B-town celeb, who would it be?!

Ahh! Ranbir Kapoor undoubtedly! He makes me go weak in my knees. He had once come on the sets of Student of the Year. I wanted to go and talk to him, but I just froze.

What would you like to tell all the youngsters out there?

Well! It's a fun show, do watch it! And Be Bindaas. There is only life. If you start following everybody else's, then you will never be bale to do your own thing! You will find yourself in a difficult path. Even if your weird, mad, different from people, be yourself. Follow your heart and Have fun.
