Shweta Basu Prasad to be seen opposite Rajat Tokas in Chandragupta Maurya

Actress Shweta Basu Prasad who began her career as Shruti in Ekta Kapoor's Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki seems to be returning back to her professional home!
According to reports, the actress has been finalized to play the lead opposite Rajat Tokas in Chandragupta Maurya. It is said that the serial will air on Zee TV. Rajat Tokas already has a lot of experience in working on mythological shows considering his past shows like Prithviraj Chauhan and Jodhaa Akbar. It is said that Shweta will be playing the role of Nandini, the wife of Chandragupta Maurya.
She was recently also seen in a special episode of Darr Sabko Lagta Hai.
