Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Akshara & Ranveer get into a heated argument; Ranveer leaves the engagement mid-way
The episode begins with Varsha yelling at Akshara and blaming her for brainwashing Ananya. Akshara cries and leaves. She comes down to where the celebration is going on and indirectly asks Ranveer whether he truly wants to marry Ananya.
The conversation turns into an argument when Ranveer denies of having kept any condition. Akshara says that advices are good but marriages aren't based on conditions. She says if he wants a conditional marriage then she would rather call off the relationship. Savita asks what happened while Varsha gets shocked on hearing this. Ranveer continues to lie of having kept any condition and says why will a fit guy marry a fat girl. He tells Savita and his family members that he is annoyed and takes them home along with him. Varsha tries to stop all of them, but in vain. Varsha blames Akshara for ruining Ananya's life. Akshara says Ananya is her daughter as well and whatever she has done was for her betterment.
Everybody agrees to Akshara which makes Varsha even more furious. She is inconsolable and in fit of anger, she even disrespects Naitik and Rukmini. Shaurya asks Varsha to behave but she lends him a deaf ear as well. Akshara feels bad but is steady on her decision. To be continued.
