Dadi & Gutthi to play different characters at concert; Organisers defend the two
That the Colors TV channel has sent a legal notice to Dadi and Gutthi aka Ali Asgar and Sunil Grover has been the talk of the town. The two who are supposed to perform at a concert supposedly did not take permission from the channel to perform as CNWk's prime characters, Dadi and Gutthi in the same attire.
But now here is a statement from the organisers of the show in their defense, trying to put a full stop to this entire controversy before it gets ugly Amit Purohit, CEO, Entex Global(Organiser of the event) said, “Considering the notice issued by colors to Sunil, Ali and my company - Entex global, we have learnt from Ali and Sunil that they are not going to use any IP related to Colors or any other channel. The show has them in Gujarati female avatars and the names are different. Hence, no resemblance of character or infringement of IPR. We look forward to hosting a great show and entertain the audiences."
The Da Bang Live concert will be held on 19th February in Surat and will see performances by Chitrangada Singh, Elli Avram and Lauren Gottlieb, singers Neha Kakkar and Nakash Aziz. The show will be hosted by Manish Paul. Bollywood's Bhai, Salman Khan will also be seen setting the stage on fire with his dazzling performance.
