Saath Nibhana Saathiya: Gopi slaps Premlata; is sent to the mental asylum
The episode begins with Kokila leaving the house and Premlata coming out from her hidden place. Hetal is shocked to see Premlata considering she had just seen Kokila going out. Premlata says that Hetal must have missed out on seeing her coming in probably because she is too stressed.
Gopi yells saying she is not mad and will not go to any mental asylum. They call the asylum and ask to take Gopi since she needs treatment. Hetal and Baa ask whether they can keep Gopi in the house. Premlata whispers into Gopis ears asking her to slap her. Gopi slaps Premlata hard. Everybody is shocked. The medical attendants take Gopi away. Ahem is inconsolable in his room. He cries profusely seeing Gopis condition. He remembers all the promises he had made to her. From his room, he sees Gopi being taken away. Gopi sees him too. He throws a red saree on her as her Valentine gift. They all are in tears.
Meanwhile, Meera gets Dharam sign the divorce papers. Vidya and Urmila support her in the decision. To be continued.
