When 'Sanskari Babuji' aka Alok Nath turned into a 'Barber' for Amal Sehrawat!
Actor Amal Sehrawat who plays Sangram in Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recently witnessed an experience that he will never forget for his lifetime! It was for him that Alok Nath who plays the role of his grandfather in the serial, turned into a 'Barber'! The actor planned to opt for a clean shaven look since now his character in YRKKH is turning positive from negative.
There was a scene where he had applied shaving cream. In between shots Alok Nath told him that if 'Sangram wants to get married he should be clean-shaven'. The senior actor also helped him shave off his stubble. Amal says, "I had seen Alok Nath in so many films including Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hai Kaun. It is a pleasure to work with him as a co-star. He always helps me rehearse my scenes before the shot and also guides me through it." He further states, "In free time, I enjoy sitting with him and cracking jokes. He sportingly shaved and I was a sport too. The new clean shaven look is making me look younger. My producer Rajan Shahi surely knows the pulse of the audience. He is like a mentor to me and I look up to him".
Well, not everyone is lucky enough to get a makeover done by the Sanskaari Babuji himself!
