Comedy Nights Live: Laughter moments with Katrina, Aditya and Salman!
So Comedy Nights Live took to Colors to air for the second very time. We cannot deny that the team has been putting in their best foot forward in making the show better episode by episode. Seems CNL has realised that taking a dig at Kapil and team won't work and rather backfire. Hence, this time, we could see them focusing on a variety of other gigs than on CNWK and the show was almost 'Kapil-Free'. Looks like Mika too realised that his laughter wasn't working and was compared to Siddhu Paaji. Hence, he took to his patent entertaining style; Singing. The performer sang plenty of hit numbers making the show more lively.
Not to forget, the highlight of the event was the Fitoor team, Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif. The shy Kapoor surprisingly opened up quite much on the show, while Kat seemed to be trying to go with the flow. While Aditya hummed a few lines of Sun Raha Hai Na Tu, Kat in spite of being on a laughter show, seemed to be reluctantly smiling. But the main rooting from the episode happened when our Salman Khan dropped onto the sets to meet and greet Katrina for a few minutes!
So going back to the show, Sudesh Lehri is truly one funny man. He along with Upasana Singh tried their best to keep the audiences laughter intact. While Sudesh managed, Upasana seemed to be using the same liners she used in CNWK. Something, we as audiences have been used to listening, 'Bittu kaun hai yeh aadmi' and not 'Pappu kaun hai yeh aadmi'. Hence, those similar punches used in CNWK does not make us laugh anymore. Something new would definitely work though. Krushna and Bharti did try their level best to tickle the audiences funny bone. And yes, to an extent they have succeeded this time. Though the comparisons to CNWK will continue to be drawn for a lot more time. The CNWK aura was something different and looked natural, a little unlike CNL.
Though we cannot deny that Krushna, Bharti and team have been making sure that they live up to the audiences expectations especially after the backlash they received after their first episode. Considering that are the new tenants in the house of Bittu Sharma which they themselves keep reminding, but to touch the aura of CNWK, 'Dilli Abhi door hai!'
