Exclusive: Karan Mehra is NOT quitting Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai!
Ever since last night, there has been a buzz regarding Karan Mehra aka Naitik of Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai quitting the show. The news has raised eyebrows and also broken the hearts of many Naitik-ians.
But, Karan has rubbished the news. While talking to Pinkvilla.com, he said, "There is nothing as of now! At the moment I am not leaving the show. I do not know why people are being happy about. It is nice to be important but not that important also. So at the moment there is nothing like that.
When questioned aboutt being unhappy about the generation leap, he said, "People are just putting up thier speculations together. It has been already a year to the leap. Nothing of that sort is happening in the show now and I am very much a part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai."
A while ago, adding more fuel to the speculation fire, there were rumours of Karan quitting since he was unhappy with a huge leap to be supposedly taken in the serial. Likewise, many times in the recent past, gossip-mongers have spread false stories about Hina Khan aka Akshara leaving YRKKH.
Since, Naitik-Akshara have been an integral part of YRKKH since the show began 7 years ago, it is unlikely they would quit the show. We hope they don't. Fingers crossed!
