Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai : Maya gets exposed; Someone locks Akshara in green room intentionally
Till now we have seen how Karishma catches Maya red-handed while she tries to mix a harmful medicine in Akshara's juice. Slowly Akshara and Naitik realise how Maya has been goofing up with Akshara's health since a long time, that too on purpose. Maya apologises and says she did it to stay in Singhania house forever. If Akshara would have recuperated, then she would have been asked to cut short her comfortable stay in the Singhania mansion. Naksh roots for Maya to be sent to jail but Akshara refuses to it and instead suggests to complain to Maya's agency. They fire Maya. Karishma says Akshara was improving by Naitik’s care. Naitik says that he will take double care so that she gets her eyesight. Everybody thank Karishma for being alert. The tensed Bhabhimaa suggests Akshara not to participate in competition to be held the next day. Naitik asks Akshara to decide to which she expresses her strong desire of participating.
Meanwhile, in the Maheshwari Niwaas Varsha tries to console the heartbroken Ananya. She gives Akshara's example of how Rituraj had rejected Akshara and then Naitik came in her life.
It's time for all of them to leave for the competition. Vishwamber and Rajshri come and they say they will also encourage Akshara. Naitik asks Mishti to come since all kids are super kids, as they have gift of love by Lord, their love is very powerful. Tara's family is confused on not receiving any call from Singhania family's end. Vikram says maybe its her competition and she did not get time.
The troubles do not end here. When they all reach the competition venue, they realise that the entry has now been shut and Akshará's name has not been registered due to some misconception. Naitik talks to a senior manager tells him the issue. Akshara finally gets herself registered. Karishma escorts her to the green room and says she will she confirm Akshara's number in the competition and asks her to wait in the room. While Akshara practices singing, she hears footsteps and thinking it to be Karishma talks to her. She asks who is it, smells the coil smoke and tells that she is allergic to it. She asks who has shut the door and asks Karishma to open the door. Naitik sitting in the audiences feels restless and wants to go and meet Akshara.
