Ye Hai Mohabbatein: Ishita kills Mr. Chadda
Ishita and Shagun discuss about the sudden change in Mr. Chadda's behaviour towards Pallavi. Raman gets furious on knowing that Vandu has been rusticated from college. To this Pathak says that the college and students' defense lawyer have done an out of court settlement. He also goes to Nidhi Chabra to talk, but the adamant lawyer says that she has offered Bala 20 lakhs for out of the court settlement and it would be better if he accepts it or else it's going to be a big loss for the Bala and Vandita if the case is continued. She also tells Raman the same thing when he calls her to talk over her unfair decision of supporting her guilty clients.
In the Chadda mansion, Pallavi is happily decorating the house and lighting up candles for Amar since he has accepted her past. But to her horror, Amar shows his true colours yet again and physically abuses the lady. Pallavi manages to escape from his clutches and locks herself in a room upstairs. She blocks the room with a table so that Amar fails to break open the door. While Amar is banging the door, Pallavi manages to somehow call Ishita and tells her about the current horrifying situation she's trapped into. She asks Ishita for immediate help, to which Ishita storms out of her house to rescue Pallavi from Amar.
Here, Amar breaks open the door and scares Pallavi with a knife. Pallavi tries to save herself, but keeps failing against the mighty man. Here, Ishita reaches the Chadda house and calls out for Pallavi. Mr Chadda gets perplexed on knowing that Ishita is standing right outside his house. He shuts Pallavi's mouth with a handkerchief and ties her hands onto a rope. He then somehow convinces Ishita that Pallavi is not at home. The doubtful Ishita refuses to accept that Pallavi is not at home and senses something is terribly fishy. Somehow Pallavi manages to untie and release herself and shouts for help. Ishita overhears the help call and rushes to rescue Rohit's mother. Amar tries to harm Pallavi with knife and that is when Ishita rams into the room. She rescues Pallavi from Amar and in the tiff also manages to snatch the knife from him. Now Ishita threatens Amar to let go off his wife, to which Mr. Chadda gets into a scuffle with Ishita. In the entire brawl, Ishita in her attempt to help herself and Pallavi accidentally kills Amar with the knife. On realising the incident, Pallavi and Ishita cry foul out of fear and guilt.
