Yeh Hai Mohabbatein: Ishita figures out Mrs. Pallavi Chadda is Rohit's mother!
Till now we have seen how Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) motivates Pallavi (Garima Kapoor) to speak up against the domestic violence she was facing, and how the noble action backfires on Ishita. The recent episode begins with Raman (Karan Patel) apologising to Mr. Chadda (Lalit Bisht) on Ishita's behalf. Mr. Chadda forgives Ishita and says that not all men are evil who hit their wives. Ishita asks for forgiveness from Mr and Mrs. Chadda to which Pallavi also takes it lightly and forgives the lady. On the other hand, Vandita(Shruti Bapna) expresses her strong desire to meet her student who tried to commit suicide and apologise to the boy's parents for the unfortunate happening.
While Ishita is on a call, Neelu gets Rohit’s official papers. Ishita checks them and upon seeing Rohit's mother's signatures on them, she remembers something. She asks Neelu to get the courier papers and compares both the signs and says this weird as both are same. (Pallavi had signed the courier papers in the previous episode.) She realizes that Rohit’s mother whose name is Pragati is actually none other than Pallavi herself. She thinks of telling it all to Raman but decides to inform Shagun first. Shagun too says that she has to reveal something. She tells that Pragati is Pallavi and she has a son. Ishita adds on to it telling her that the son is Rohit. Shagun says we need to inform all this to Raman but Ishita disagrees to share it with anybody till the adoption procedure is sorted.
Meanwhile, in the Iyer house, Ruhi informs Vandita how Shravan fought with his school boys. The boys were were ragging him in school over of Vandita's case. She also informs Vandu how Shravu being a good boy also apologised to the same boys over his mistake and how all was well now. Ruhi says she is proud of Shravan. Vandita warmly hugs her son and apologises to him for all the hardship he had to face because of her. Shravan consoles his mother. Bala and Vandu on her demand go and meet the student's family in the hospital. The mother of the patient taunts and accuses Vandita and holds her responsible for her son's terrible condition. Vandita becomes inconsolable and Bala tries console her. He tells the student's mother that it was her son's mistake since he was caught stealing. But the furious mother refuses to hear anything against her son and asks Bala to shut up.
