Kokila’s duplicate creates major drama in Modi Bhavan on the day of Meera homecoming in Saathiya!
Until now, we had witnessed the wandering child of Modi family – Meera (Tanya Sharma) – hating her mother Gopi to the hilt due to self-created misunderstandings. After getting swayed by Gaura’s influence, Meera married her sister Vidya’s father-in-law Dharam (Amar Upadhyay) to seek revenge from the Modis by torturing Vidya.
However, a series of developments made Meera realise her folly, especially, when inebriated Dharam tried to rape Meera in their home. Gopi came in to rescue Meera in the nick of time and took her back home. While, Dharam got reprimanded by the police for forcing himself upon Meera, a change of heart led Meera to break down and apologise to Gopi and Ahem for all her mistakes.
With an open heart, Gopi, Ahem and others in the family accepted Meera’s apology. However, Kokila threw a shocker on Meera and others by slapping her and alleging her for dramatizing a new act to fool others. Kokila spoke at length reminding others how Meera hurt them in the past and counted each and every mistake she committed to hurt others.
While others witnessed the unforeseen and unbearable events with a heavy heart, what they could not fathom was the fact that Kokila is not the real matriarch of the family, but a lookalike who has been sent to Modi Bhavan by none other than Gaura to break the family!
Now, this new Kokila will about admonishing everyone and throwing her weight around like never before. Not only this, the new bahu of Modi clan, Sona, will add fire to the fuel by pointing out to Hetal how Kokila likes to control all the matters of the family despite being her junior.
