Kaala Teeka actor Bhupinder Singh banned from shooting for slapping production guy!
After actress Mita Vashisht's abrupt exit from Zee TV and DJ’s A Creative Unit’s Kaala Teeka, another controversy revolving the show has come to light.
A daily reports that the male lead, Bhupinder Singh, has been banned for three months for shooting the show for slapping a member of the production team!
The person in question, Rajendra Upadhayay from the production team, is one of the oldest members. Hence, the production house has taken strict action going by their zero tolerance policy for physical violence.
Bhupinder Singh , when contacted by the daily, refused to share the story saying, "I am at the meeting. Please call me later."
However, producer Deeya Singh, revealed the whole story. "It is a very unfortunate and unexpected thing to have happened at DJ's A Creative Unit. Violence is not acceptable at any cost and we are looking into the matter. We were shocked and taken aback when we came to know about this. The production person involved is like a family. He has been with us for so many years,” she told the daily, adding that slapping someone won’t be strictly tolerated by the production house.
Bhupinder is playing a negative character in the show who lives by the orthodox customs and supersitions laid down by the Indian society.
