Sita and Raavan of Siya Ke Ram are good friends in real life!
She was destined to play a damsel in distress, while he, her perpetrator. But, in real life, the Sita (Madirakshi Mundle) and Raavan (Kartik Jayaram) of the new-age Ramayan aka Siya Ke Ram, are thick friends and bond well off-screen.
A daily reports that Madirakshi and Kartik’s friendship dates back to the time while they met for the to shoot of an ad film. It was Madirakshi who informed Kartik about the auditions for Raavan’s role in Siya Ke Ram. Interestingly, Kartik was zeroed on for Raavan’s role even before Madirakshi got selected as Sita.
Kartik is looking forward to play Raavan, but credits veteran actor Arvind Trivedi of Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan for his iconic and matchless portrayal of the character.
The Kannada actor will be introduced as Raavan in Siya Ke Ram during Sita’s upcoming Swayamvar.
