While, the news world is abuzz with the separation and impending divorce of celebrity couple Nandish Sandhu and Rashami Desai, the Uttaran actor recently broke his silence to speak about his link-up with former Miss India International Ankita Shorey.

Speaking about his final break-up with Rashami, Nandish said, “I am not dating Ankita Shorey. In fact, I am not dating anyone currently. Whenever I get into a relationship, I will be vocal about it and not hide it as it has always been that way for me. Rashami asked for a divorce last year when she sent me a notice. We got together for Nach Baliye and we have spoken about this on the show too that we were not in talking terms before the show, but decided to give it one more try. Things got better during Nach Baliye, but after it got over, this year on 23rd September she again approached me for a divorce and we mutually decided to finally part ways.”

Moving on to share details of his rumoured relationship with Ankita Shorey, the actor said, “I met Ankita at a common friend’s birthday party in October end this year. We have a lot of friends in common and so we bumped into each other a couple of times and hence she became like one of my other industry friends. And so how can a girl who I met in October end this year be responsible for a divorce that was decided on 23rd September this year? I have consented for a divorce not because there is someone else in my life, but because I have tried my 100 percent and I have really given our marriage the best shot possible."
