Pregnant Urmila dies in Balika Vadhu
Tisha Kapoor – who brought about an interesting twist in the story of Balika Vadhu – with her entry as the protagonist Nimboli’s (Gracy Gowami) nasty sautan and later friend, is no more in the show.
Tisha’s character, an adolescent Urmila, who was 7 months pregnant with Kundan’s (Sparsh Shrivastav) baby, recently went into labour when she had a shocking encounter with her criminal father-in-law Akheraj Singh in her house. Everyone knew that Akheraj had excaped from the prison, but his wife Harki kept him hidden in the house away from everyone’s glare. Since, Urmila was not expecting to see her devilish FIL in the house, the shocking encounter followed by threats from Akheraj struck her like lightning. In no time, she started having cramps and was rushed to the hospital by her sister-in-law Kamli.
As fate would have it, Urmila and her unborn baby were declared dead by the doctor. This news has come as a shocker to Urmila’s family and dear ones. However, none knows that it was Akheraj who is behind Urmila’s untimely demise.
