Bigg Boss 9 Day 76: Salman calls Gisele “sidechick”; Mandana turns “thanda”!
The episode opens as birthday boy Salman burns the stage by performing on Aaj Ki Party Meri Taraf Se. He begins by revealing that he was joking last week when he said that there shall be double eviction this week and adds that only one contestant shall be ousted this time.
Taking into account the week’s events, Salman Khan asks the housemates who has become “thanda” in the house. When most housemates say Mandana, Salman Khan blames the housemates for having a strong herd mentality.
Next, he pulls Gisele’s leg by jokingly telling her that the Oxford dictionary has added the word ‘sidechick’ going by the Nora’s comment on her. He also pulls up Rishabh and asks him what was so sleazy about what Priya said in front of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol last weekend. As usual, Rishabh ends up making a fool of himself by trying to defend himself for making that remark.
Revisiting the Baazi task, Salman jokingly counsels Prince to never get into betting. Further, he asks the housemates who among Rochelle and Rishabh was the most deserving for the captaincy role. While, the majority votes for Rochelle, they also agree that the two contenders should have handled the situation more maturely. Returning to the captaincy task of the week, in which Kishwer decided to pair up Mandana with Suyyash, Salman tells Kishwer that giving Mandana a chance at captaincy was a “masterstroke” on her part because she knew Mandana would give up. When Salman questions Mandy for giving up so quickly, the latter comes clean about Suyyash being her “Secret Child” and hence, she let him win.
Lastly, Salman appreciates Keith for coming up with the idea to donate their clothes to an orphanage as a good deed for Christmas. He tells the housemates that there is an empty box kept in the store room which they can use to donate clothes.
