Comedy Nights with Kapil: When Ranveer showed his possessive streak for Deepika!
Kapil aka Bittoo Sharma was geared up in the recently aired episode of Comedy Nights with Kapil to woo his crush Deepika yet again in the Bajirao Mastani special episode. To welcome Deepika, Kapil left no stone unturned. He converted the sets of the show ala a palace and dressed up like royalty to win brownie points from ‘Mastani’ Deepika. So, just when Kapil showed up hoping to be chosen as Deepika’s suitor, ‘Bajirao’ Ranveer came in riding a horse like a knight in shining armour and swept Deepika off her feet. And soon, a hilarious battle between the two suitors kicked-off to win Deepika as his bride.
There was a word-fighting sequence between Deepika and Ranveer which eventually turned into a dandiya act, thus, reminding everyone of Ram-Leela days. Kapil could not hold himself from seriously asking Deepika why Sanjay Leela Bhansali gives her heavy costumes to wear. To this, Deepika replies that because she is the fittest person and Ranveer is the delicate one!
The Pinga dance face-off between Mastani Palak and ‘Kathibai’ Gutthi was another rib-tickling part of the episode which ended in Palak lifting Ranveer off the floor!
And then the moment when a member of the audience proposed Deepika, a jealous Ranveer got down on his knees to recite a shayari for her. Even later, it was seen how possessive Ranveer is for Deepika.
