Coming Up! Mahabharat track in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani to turn Gayatri into Queen Draupadi!
When it comes to palace-tales, they can never be complete without plotting, scheming and blood-thirsty characters that are ready to do anything to claim their rights on the throne. The great epic Mahabharat is an ideal example to prove how low man can stoop, cheat and kill his own kinsmen and friends for gold and women.
Taking cue from Mahabharat, the makers of Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani are soon going to come up with a track involving the Game of Dice between Indravadhan Singh Deo of Amerkot and Avdesh Singh Chauhan. In the recent episodes, we saw Avdesh setting his lustful eyes on Ranaji’s regal consort Gayatri (Drashti Dhami). To win Gayatri and also the throne of Amerkot, Avdesh challenged Ranaji for a duel. However, Ranaji managed to overpower Avdesh in the spear fight and emerged victorious. The wicked-minded Avdesh immediately changed his strategy and extended the hand of friendship to Ranaji. Although, Ranaji forged alliance with Avdesh, Gayatri was quick to sense evil in these developments.
Now, sources say that the story will take the Mahabharat’s course as Avdesh will soon conspire to snatch away Amerkot and Gayatri from Ranaji by inviting him for a game of dice. Ranaji will naively accept the offer and indulge in alcohol and dice during the game-changing episode. One by one, Avdesh will ask Ranaji to put his property at stake. Unfortunately, Ranaji will lose his wealth to Avdesh. However, the worst will come when Avdesh will dare to challenge Ranaji to put is wife Gayatri to stake as a last means to get everything back. In a state of intoxication, Ranaji shall agree and will lose Gayatri to Avdesh!
This will enrage Gayatri and she will resolve to seek revenge from Avdesh and from her husband Indravadhan too.
Will Avdesh still take away Gayatri by employing force on her? Will Gayatri eventually forgive Ranaji?
Watch out for the answers to these questions by coming back to this space.
