Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani: Avdesh loses the battle to Rana Indravadhan; befriends him to get his hands on Gayatri!
In the recent episode, we saw Gayatri getting dressed up like a new bride remembering Raj Mata asking her to wait for her husband to return victorious from the battle or commit jauhar to salvage her honour. She prays for Ranaji’s safety and makes way to the battleground.
Meanwhile, Indravadhan gets ready to fight Avdesh Singh Chauhan in the palace premises. Avdesh shows up and confronts Indravadhan. He ties his signature anklets to one of his legs much to the amusement of the members of the royal clan and other viewers. He ditches the sword and picks up a spear to fight with Ranaji. Seeing Avdesh armed with a spear, Indravadhan too exchanges his sword with a spear.
A tooth-and-nail battle begins between the two warriors. Gayatri comes rushing to the battleground and urges Raj Mata to allow her to be present near Ranaji so that she could be his armour. Reluctantly, Raj Mata allows Gayatri to have her way. As the fight between Ranaji and Avdesh reach its climax, Ranaji manages to overpower his enemy and is about to kill him. However, at Gayatri’s behest, he spares Avdesh’s life. As soon as Ranaji turns his back on Avdesh, the latter picks up the spear and throw it towards Ranaji. The spear, however, misses Ranaji’s neck. While, Gayatri and Raj Mata get shocked to behold this scene, Ranaji turns around wondering what Avdesh was up to. Avdesh breaks his silence and reveals that he returned Ranaji’s favour by sparing his life.
Much to the shock of everyone, Avdesh accepts his defeat and extends the hand of friendship to Ranaji. While, Gayatri and Raj Mata look unsure about Avdesh’s intentions, more so, his flippant nature; Ranaji thinks for a while and forges alliance with Avdesh. As Avdesh takes Ranaji in his embrace, he lustily eyes Gayatri, thereby, revealing his intentions behind befriending Ranaji.
