Guess who was seen playing Lord Ram's sister Shanta in Siya Ke Ram?
Nikhil Sinha, the producer of Siya Ke Ram on Star Plus, who has also produced the super hit show Devon Ke Dev Mahadev shares his feeling for daughter Ilvika Sinha who recently made an appearance in the show Siya Ke Ram.
Nikhil’s joy knew no bounds when he recently saw his little girl shooting for a special sequence in the show. “I am very happy and proud to see my daughter debuting in my show. She is very intelligent and a sweet girl. I have directed many shows in the past, but she is acting for the first time. She has played the role of Shanta, the sister of Ram. She had only four -five beautiful shots so no dialogues were there. It felt great to see my daughter on the TV screen."
Nikhil’s business partner, wife and mother of Ilvika, Sohanna Sinha adds, "I was so very proud. Imagine a father who is a producer and director directing a 6 year-old and she being the first timer didn't feel at all conscious and was just listening to her father's instructions. Professionalism, I guess, is in the blood.”
On being asked how the response to the show is Nikhil says, "People love Siya Ke Ram because it is different from other shows. Many Ramayan shows were there but this Ramayan is different and people are finding it fresh because the concept is different and some stories that are not shown in other Ramayan shows we are showing that thing. I have got many compliments from many people. The best compliment was that we have started watching TV again because this show is so unique and the perspective of Sita is very interesting and production values are extraordinary.”
