Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani: Badi Rani Ma's evil face exposed by Gayatri!
In the recent episode, we saw Ranaji (Siddhant Karnick) leaving the palace after his evil uncle crowns Badi Rani (Surekha Sikri) as the Queen of Amerkot.
Badi Rani calls for a celebration to mark her coronation. A group of masked dancers arrive in the palace and start performing at the royal bash. In the midst of the performance, Badi Rani gets shocked to see a fleeting glimpse of Gayatri amongst the dancers. She leaves her throne in bewilderment and shares the news with her son Kunwarji. Kunwarji pacifies her and asks her to relax. However, Badi Rani sees Gayatri staring at her from a corner of the palace hall.
She walks up to Gayatri and confronts her. Gayatri orchestrates a situation to make Badi Rani confess all her sins. When Badi Rani is about to stab Gayatri after a heated argument, Ranaji intervenes and shocks Badi Rani. He blasts Badi Rani for plotting to kill him and Gayatri and breaking his trust even when his mother and wife were constantly trying to convince him to see the reality.
Kunwar uncle and his son Prince Lakshya Raj arrive to witness Gayatri alive. Kunwarji begins pretending to be unaware of Badi Rani’s intentions and alleges her for fooling everyone. A flashback is shown when Raj Mata plans with Gayatri to stage her death. Raj Mata offers a pill to Gayatri that would bring down her breath and everyone would assume her to be dead after Badi Rani’s attempt to kill her. It is also shown that while Ranaji and other men were away to prepare for Gayatri’s final rites, Raj Mata quickly put another pill in her mouth which brought her back to normalcy. Later, Raj Mata brought Gayatri before Ranaji and the ladies convinced him to allow them once chance to expose Badi Rani Ma.
Once the flashback is over, Badi Rani gives an explanation for playing it wicked. She says that she was ill-treated by her husband and others. Hence, she decided to seek revenge for all the hardships she was forced to bear.
Raj Mata breaks her silence and comes clean about having issues with Badi Rani. She says that Badi Rani always kept Ranaji away from her bosom and that hurt her feelings the most because after all, Ranaji is her son.
Gayatri also reminds Badi Rani that it was she who preached that respected is earned; but she forgot to practice what she preached. Badi Rani Ma asks Gayatri to watch her words and refuses to accept defeat till she is alive.
