Bigg Boss 9 Day 48: Prince sacrifices 2 weeks’ immunity & captaincy for thankless Priya; Mandana rates herself as No.1 contestant!
The episode begins on the night of day 47 when the main gates of the BB house are flung open. Bigg Boss breaks his silence for the confused contestants, and says that whoever wishes to leave, can do so. Everyone expect Rimi to pack her bags and bid them adieu. However, Rimi surprises all by staying in and retiring to her bed instead. When Suyyash questions her why she did not leave, Rimi says, “ab jaake kya karungi 7 hafte ho gaye.”
Suyyash questions again her saying, “to kya jeetna hai kya?” Rimi answers him saying that it would be better if she is eliminated from the show by way of public voting.
On the other hand, Rochelle, Priya and Prince continue staying inside the car in their bid to win. At the break of dawn, Rochelle steps out of the car and thus gives up her fight for captaincy. She changes into her pyjamas and goes to sleep in the bedroom along with rest of the house. Only Priya and Prince are left in the car to continue their fight for captaincy. At 10:11 am, the song Koi hero yahan wakes up the entire house from their deep slumber.
Around noon, Priya tries convincing Prince to give up the task by offering him lucrative offers. She tells him that if Prince allows her to win the task, she will never take any severe action against him as the captain of the house. Priya further promises Prince that she won’t harm his friends Rochelle, Mandana and Su-Kish. Prince finally gives up the task and proudly announces that he is allowing Priya to win because she is new in the house, hence needs the power and immunity.
Bigg Boss declares Priya as the winner and makes her the new captain of the house along with immunity for two weeks. She is also given a special right about which she shall be told when the right time comes.
As the day goes on, one by one, almost all the big shots of the house (except the wild card entrant Priya and Kanwaljeet), are shown a montage of their journey in BB till date. Rishabh is told that he entered the house as a terror for others. However, now he has been reduced merely to a joker! Suyyash is told that he is like a shadow of Kishwer and has a no identity of his own. Prince also receives a negative feedback about his journey and is told that he has become a part of the herd. Mandana and Rochelle are given good feedback for their role in the show. Rimi also gets to take a look at her journey which she finds funny.
Later, Bigg Boss announces the housemates to get into the garden area and stand on the number boxes from 1-10 according to how they would like to rate themselves. Wild card entrants Rishabh, Priya and Kanwaljeet are assigned the role of questioning the housemates about the rating they have given to themselves.
Mandana numbers herself no. 1 and argues that she has survived all the odds. Rochelle takes number 3 position first, but soon after, takes the second position. Prince jumps to number 4 position, while Kish takes the third place. All the housemates give various reasons to the supervisor trios to prove why they deserve the rating they have chosen for themselves. Funnily, Rimi takes the number 10 position and begins laughing about it.
