Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani: After Gayatri’s death, Ranaji decides to crown his wicked uncle as the new King; to leave the Kingdom for good!
In the latest episode of Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, the ladies of the royal household come wailing and mourning over Gayatri’s unforeseen death. Ranaji, who was unaware of the unfortunate developments, gets heartbroken and shattered to know the truth. Gayatri’s dead body is brought inside the palace on a palanquin. A funeral is held during which Gayatri’s family also arrives to wail over her dead body. Raj Mata gives sindoor to Ranaji to anoint Gayatri’s head before she is taken away for the final rites. Ranaji recalls the moment when he did not put the sindoor to Gayatri during their wedding and the Karvachauth night when he gave her the rights by anointing her head. Finally, he puts the sindoor and begins sobbing over her death. Meanwhile, Badi Rani Ma is seen shedding crocodile tears at the funeral. At this time, a few women sitting amog the mourners comment about Ranaji’s wives dying one by one due to the malefic effect of planets in his natal chart. Raj Mata hears this comment and remembers being told about Kaal Sarpa Dosha defect in Ranaji’s birth chart ue to which his wife won’t survive. Badi Rani Ma pretends to be nice by rubbishing the comment of the women and asks them to stay quiet. To the shock of his enemies, Ranaji decides to crown his uncle as the King of Amerkot and resolves to spend the rest of his life abroad as a penance for failing to give happiness to Gayatri. Kunwarji, Lakshya and Badi Rani Ma get joyous to hear this decision, but refrain from expressing their happiness. Raj Mata gets shocked to know Ranaji’s decision; yet she does not protest about it.
Later, Gayatri final rites are held. Ranaji returns to the palace in gloomy mood and remembers the times he spent with Gayatri. On the other hand, Kunwarji and his son Lakshya celebrate about their aim to get the Kingdom from Rana Indravadhan. Badi Rani Ma joins them and leaves her wheelchair to stand on her own feet. It turns out that she was pretending to be wheelchair bound and injured.
Raj Mata walks up to Ranaji and asks him to witness the scene in which Kunwarji, Badi Rani and Lakshya are in a revelation mode.
